It has a lot of function and role in our body.  It determines how well our body functions.  The more water we drink, the healthier we become. Water does not only increase the quality of life, but it also prolongs one’s life.</p>
<p>Water plays a vital role in the absorption and digestion of food, as well as, in the transportation of oxygen and nutrients to the cells. It also protects and relieves our body from body pains such as back pains, muscular pains, joint pains, stomach pains and the like.  Water also relieves headaches, migraines, depression, disorientation, constipation and allergies. More importantly, it prevents man from illnesses such as an ulcer,, hypertension, cholesterol, asthma, and other form of sickness. Water also regulates our body temperature; It takes away toxins and dirt from our body; It lubricates our joints; It protects tissues, organs and the spinal cord from damage. Water gives us a healthy and clear skin and also maintains muscle tone. Life, therefore, is nothing without water.</p>
<p>Man, aside from water, drinks other forms of beverages such as juice, tea, coffee, soft drinks and etcetera.  However, these drinks do not really substitute water in the proper functioning of a man’s body.  Instead, they sometimes do not give us any good when used in the wrong way and is unhealthy to our body.  Like for example, drinks that constitute caffeine stimulate a person’s adrenal gland. While a drink that contains sugar increases the insulin level in our body and takes our body out of its fat burning state. With the given disadvantages of the other form of beverages, it does not necessarily mean that we do not have to drink them.  We can drink them moderately and even lower.  Water is still the best to drink for it has no side effects and no disadvantages.</p>
<p>Water is a very important factor when a person wants to decrease weight. This is because, water has no calories, fats and cholesterol. When a person drinks plenty of water, fat deposits in the body are being lessened and therefore, may help in the reduction of weight.  Water also helps in the proper digestion of our solid foods and gets rid or our body wastes.  When a person drinks plenty of water, he may also perspire a lot, thus cools down his body.  Proper intake of water also prevents us from dehydration, which sometimes causes headache, stress and migraine.</p>
<p>With all these advantages, it is but important for us to drink water with an average of eight to ten glasses a day.  In this way, our body organs and tissues can function properly, thus, giving us a healthy and well-balanced body.</p>

It has been the main topic among people with ailments and disabilities. It is the families’ focus as to giving their children a brighter future ahead. Health is optimum being of a person where in a person is in between a continuum which has an illness on one side and wellness on the other. With health, one can identify if one is sick or if one is healthy. For example, having a fever is one way of distinguishing that a person’s metabolic capacity or rate is heightened because of continuing needs of the body for energy. Once this happens, the body raises its vital signs- temperature, respiratory rate, pulse rate, blood pressure and pain. Because of that, one is considered to be sick and certain interventions are made by the doctor following procedures such as assessment, diagnosis, planning, interventions and evaluation. With this the doctor has to administer certain techniques such as your IPPA- inspection, percussion- palpation and auscultation. Certain tests are also made depending on the impending level of sickness such as you blood testing and your chest radiography.</p>
<p>Health is considered vital to people around us. Messing up health may lead to certain diseases that all of us would not want because of expenses. It is therefore, best that one should take care of their health.</p>
<p>Eating is a way of nourishing the body with the needed nutrients and minerals. It is best to eat at least 3 meals a day and at least 2 snacks. Whenever your tummy grumbles, that is usually the signal wherein your body needs glucose. Glucose is a simple sugar found in the food we eat. Every food we eat has essential nutrients, vitamins and minerals that would help the body work. Some might say that why not eat just when you are hungry. Actually, eating even when you are not hungry would not go to waste. The body usually stores the glucose in food as glycogen. That is why some might feel full even though it is already meal time. The person, for that matter, has ingested much during the previous meal that instead of utilizing glucose, the body stores the glucose for later use.</p>
<p>Exercise is another way of maintaining a healthy body. Through exercise, one perspires. Perspiration is, in other words, sweating. In your sweat, some unwanted chemicals that are in your body are evaporated through sweat. So in simpler terms, sweating would mean evaporating from your excess chemicals that aren’t needed by the body. Furthermore, it is also suggested that a person drinks eight glass of water a day. Through this, the boy is replenished and is given the needed electrolytes replacing those that were used in perspiration, no wonder most of us thirsts for water when we exercise. The body needs these electrolytes to keep the body going and to prevent it from drying, in other words. Perspiration is also another way of releasing your body heat. Heat will go along with your sweat. It is thereby advisable for those who experience fever to sweat in order to lower down the body heat. Because of this, it is also best for these persons to drink lots and lots of water.</p>
<p>People nowadays could not avoid being sick or ill. For example, if you met a car accident head on, you are not expected to avoid such. So by that, people of the medical field have offered hospitals and clinics to help those in need for their health to be checked and for those who seek medical attention. It is in this facility where the doctor performs the necessary interventions to help clients. In the process, as soon as the doctor has concluded of the illness that the person is experiencing, medications are then prescribed. These medications are a product of technology helping an individual to maintain his or her homeostasis. Homeostasis is the state of the body in which all its functioning entities are at work and the body is at its equilibrium state. During this state, the person is healthy. Medications have helped human beings survive this world and have contributed to prolonging the man&#8217;s stay in this world.</p>
<p>Health should be taken care of. It is best if you start on doing something about your health. It is time that the world should be health conscious. Let the people know that health is important. With even a simple statement to a smoker to stop smoking would enhance and give him a much greater chance of prolonging his life. Think of health, start protecting it now.</p>

<p>We in this day and age, work hard to prepare for whatever tomorrow brings us. We spent our time, our effort and our money building our career, our family and our dreams. We struggle to any obstacle that blocks our way and fights even harder. For achieving our success and capturing our goals in life’s career is the only thing that matters to us most and no other.  We even tend to go further that not even any relationship problem involving our friends and family can stop us from pursuing our dreams. We have sacrificed so much that it came to a point where there is no turning back. And if we are fortunate enough to be able to achieve our dreams, by then we tell ourselves that everything is now perfect. Until with just a snap, everything falls apart when we are stricken with a dreaded disease like heart attack, stroke or cancer. Now we ask ourselves what really matters most in our life.</p>
<p>There is a saying that <em>“you are what you eat”,</em> that anything that you eat affects your health. If we take our health diet for granted, most certainly it will result to unhealthy status of our physical well being in the future. One thing we should put in mind that every time we wake up in the morning, we have the drive to do our work and to function efficiently because we are in the best of physical health. We are able to function well in doing our task for it is all due to our healthy body. For without a healthy body, it would be impossible for us to do our work at the optimum level. We feel pain, body malaise and any other symptoms of an unhealthy body. Thus, by eating the right food, regular supplements of vitamins and minerals and regular exercise, there is no doubt that our immune system will be given a boost, and we can function well.</p>
<p>Apart from having a healthy physical body, emotional or mental health is also one important aspect of our health. We cannot deny that, even if we are physically healthy, we still cannot function effectively if we have problems with our emotional or mental state. To have such problem, these results to losing one’s concentration and focus in doing one’s task. This might be due to depression, anxiety or other mental disturbances. So in order to avoid such problems in relation to our emotional or mental health, we should give an ample rest to our mind, just as we give the ample rest to our body. For we are not like machines; our mind and body have its own limit. Unlike machines where it can be wholly repaired in just a short time, our mind and body needs time to regenerate to be totally repaired. For the body cannot function without a mind and the mind cannot be aptly expressed without the body, thus making both the mind and body go well together in maintaining a healthy living.</p>
<p>Proper diet, regular exercise and enough rest are all it takes to achieve a healthy well being and staying fit in both mind and body is the key to good health. However, if sickness persists and cannot be relieved by a rest alone, consult your doctor as early as you can.</p>

<p>Nonetheless, our health is our greatest treasure above all. It is very important not only in achieving our goals or in fulfilling our dreams, but because it is our life and with this, it is everything. What can we do with all the money and material things we have if we are dead? Hence, we should live our life to the fullest but also respect life to the fullest.</p>
